The Alliance française is an association under local law whose objective is to promote the French language in the country. To do so, it offers French courses, cultural activities and a media library. With nearly 1,000 students enrolled in its courses each year, it is the only French language centre in the country. The Alliance française is also a place of resources where the public can consult the press, television or books in French. Finally, the team is happy to provide information to French-speaking tourists who wish to discover São Tomé and Príncipe.
