The NGO Hapinesy has created a participatory eco-village on the island of Príncipe that respects the natural environment. Among the resources deployed: self-sufficiency in energy and food, techniques for bodily well-being, use of dry toilets with biomass production, capture and purification of water shared with the natives, production of Biochar, permaculture, livestock farming with milk valorization, seed bank, collection and valorization of waste... The NGO Hapinesy welcomes volunteers and visitors from one day to several months.
