Awesome park, worth the $3 admission even if it's just for sunset.

It's not much of a park. There are a few poorly marked trails that often flood. It's been obvious that nothing is done to maintain the premises aside from mowing the grass around the parking lot.

Beautiful park with hiking trails. Dog friendly and nice and quiet.

I love this park. Over 100 camping spots available ranging from full hookups to primitive camping. Nice Beach area along the shores of Lake Pontchartrain. Nature trails, history, cabins on the lake, and awesome wildlife. Something for everyone.
