Well located B & B, a few steps from downtown, has a beautiful and large blue house on stilts facing the lake.

The friendly couple Clyde and Cindy will welcome you in their pretty and large blue house on stilts facing the lake. Ideally located, a few steps from downtown and the lake shore, this B&B is very well kept, each room having its own color. The breakfast, lovingly prepared by Cindy, is an opportunity to chat with visitors while tasting, among other things, fabulous slices of bacon that the hostess has the secret. Please note that a minimum of two nights is required on weekends.

Stunning B&B right next to the lake and many other local hot spots in walking distance! Easy parking and check-in. Very clean, cozy, and relaxing!

EXTREMELY CLEAN!! Super comfortable rooms and atmosphere. This was my first experience with a B&B and I will definitely be back to this one.

Clyde and Cindy were very hospitable, their place was quite and in a beautiful location. Hot breakfast served on WEEKENDS ONLY, was delicious, but the bacon and cheese grits was OMG!! The bed was so comfortable and the room had some goodies, coffee, and water. I would definitely recommend this place, and I WILL BE BACK! Oh and this little fur baby let me rub his belly!!!

I don't think a Bed & Breakfast could get any better than de la Bleau. It has the best location in Old Mandeville and is centrally located to all the restaurants, bars, shops, St. TammanyTrace and the lake. It has wonderful Lake Pontchartrain views and is very spacious with everything you could ask for. The rooms have coffee makers with coffee, mugs, wine glasses, fridge, included snacks/bottled water and plenty of storage. There are also top tier bathroom essentials and a hair dryer. The house is huge and super clean. The home-cooked breakfast was very good and every breakfast staple was present and accounted for. Some restaurants to consider are Rip's on the Lake and Barley Oak. Barley Oak is also a very nice bar with sprawling views of the lake and very good comfort food. Both are casual and fairly priced with very nice staff. Shops to consider are Das Schulerhaus, Mae's Antiques and Tallulah's Vintage Market; all of which are a stone's throw from de la Bleau. Also within a short distance is Brook's Bikes. They rent kid's bikes, adult bikes, adult trikes, 4 seater Surreys and even e-bikes (pedal assist). These are must-haves for riding down the St. Tammany Trace to see Abita Springs (Mystery Museum, Farmer's Market), Covington and other areas. They're also very handy just riding along the lakefront or from shop to shop in Old Mandeville. de la Bleau truly has it all, (even an elevator!)

Top!
