Built in 1895 in the solid wood of cypress, the building attracted precursors and icons of jazz. Early jazzmen were quick to board a steamboat to perform at the Dew Drop. In order to preserve not only the nostalgic wooden shack but also the atmosphere of the time, there is no electricity or air conditioning. You can always take a seat in the small adjoining garden where the crowd settles.
