This Victorian style house was built in the 1880s by sawmill owner William Theodore Jay. Frank Otis bought the house and renovated it in the 1930s. Upon his death in 1962, he bequeathed the house and surrounding land to the state for use as a recreational area, and in 1999 the house was designated a historic landmark. As you enter the nature park, the Otis house faces the river. Possibility of camping on site.
