Nice clean and quite. Space behind the hotel for our dogs that was grass. Dogs were able to get some running in before bed. They seem to sleep better after that. Our Husky always likes to wake us up about 5:30a.m. She is very vocal. If you know anything about Husky’s they have a great deal to say to you first thing in the morning

Location and service is good but that’s about it. We got into the room and one bed had black stains on the sheets and a wet stain by the head area. The other one had like blood like stains on the actual mattress. It was so bad that I decided to sleep on my air mattress instead. Shower was fine, toilet rocked back and forth. Breakfast is average, typical stuff without the meats.

The room was very dirty and the bathroom was no better. The bathroom toilet would rock and almost through you off into the floor, from being very loose. Every time one would use the microwave, which it would make a loud noise like a B 52 was taking off. Every time the AC would kick on, which it would wake a person up in middle of the night from the loud rattling noise or could not hear the the TV, when the AC kicked on. The bed's mattress was so worn-out that a person could not get a good night sleep from the mattress being so Concave. The room also had a very musky or moldy smell to it. In my travels the breakfast bar is the worse that I have ever experienced

We always stayed here in the summer but this day we were there people were so rude at the pool and made reports of people smoking marijuana and nothing was done we wind up having to leave because my kids didn't feel safe and they all just acted like they ran the place didn't care about anybody else and they had like 12 kids with no bands but all of us had bands and my kids didn't want to go back out to the pool at all the whole stay which that was the whole reason we even went

The reason for my score is that i booked this hotel because it advertise certain amenities that I needed for my business trip and on arrival I realized it did not had any. The fitness room was "out of service" and the internet, although functional in the lobby, did not work on my room. Several of the TV channels were not watchable, so i guess the hotel does not have cable. And non of the ice machines work. The people there were very nice, very accommodating and welcoming, I don't believe this is their fault, as I truly think they were doing the best they can. But I was very surprise to find the hotel in this condition. This is the second time a "La Quinta" hotel has disappointed me I will never stay there again.

Rooms are dirty, lights didn't work,no back on the remote control. Channels were out of service. Booked with discover card only to get there and realize there don't take discover cards due to a glitch in their system! A TON OF DRUG USE! ESPECIALLY around the pool area! We almost witnessed several kid drownings! While one parent was nodding off in the pool! Also a group of guys was doing drugs at the pool. People walk off and leave their small children at the pool unsupervised! They was meeting up at a room to do drugs! Anyone can go in the pool even though we were told you had to have a bracelet and we were the only ones wearing them! There is mildew in the rooms. It was a mess!

This has been one of the worst properties we have visited. The pictures online do not reflect the quality of the hotel. The hotel was old, nasty smelling, and stained torn carpet. Our room was dirty upon checkin. Bug poop on the beds, mold on the walls, floor unswept, broken lights, and taped up mirror. Went to the front desk, and they told us we could get a refund through Expedia. We called Expedia who called the hotel to verify the info and “Cassie” denied everything! We drove straight back to and talked to Cassie who had a very nasty attitude and refused at first to refund us saying the room was clean. She also told us that it didn’t matter what the rest of the hotel looked it as we were only paying for the room. Why would you want to stay somewhere that was nasty is beyond me. She said the pictures that were shown if the room were when the hotel first opened! After 10 minutes of going back and forth Cassie finally said she would issue a refund. A week later I still did get a refund and had to reach out to Expedia to get a refund.

This hotel is located next to great places to grab something to eat, shop, and drink. The friendly staff is awesome and professional and work as a team. Breakfast was light to get you started for the day. The pool was everything, spacious, beautiful seating areas, great scenery to take lots of pictures because of the foliage. Also what I have never seen is a chair for the physically impaired to enjoy the pool as well. Just a great place

Looks scary from the outside. Luckily I was in the wrong place. Lobby was nice. I didn't see any rooms. Liz at the desk was very helpful and nice.

It's not glamorous but my wife and I didn't have any trouble with this place. Water pressure was good, no clogged drains, clean sheets, slept well. The ceiling above the shower was a little cracked up but meh.

Literally stayed for 30-40 minutes and left to a different hotel. Disgusting. There cockroches on one of the beds, dead and alive. Other types of bugs crawling on beds. Never going back.

We stayed after thinking it was a nice hotel and not trying to judge a book by its cover. But when we get into the rooms there were holes in curtains, ac barley worked sheets had stains shower was rusted and we found bugs in the sink. Requardless of the maintenance that's needed the rooms should be cleaned and obviously weren't. We won't be staying there again.

This hotel is literally falling apart. We had to walk up broken steps. The rails are rusted and paint has peaked off. The AC rattled all night like it had TB. The shower took 30 minutes to drain. The bed was at least okay. Don’t stay here unless it’s all you can afford.

Nice pool pet friendly clean room cracker barrel right next door breakfast buffet OK hard boiled eggs waffles coffee juice and milk OK for a quick pick me up before you get back on the highway

Nous sommes allés dans plusieurs La Quinta lors de notre roadtrip dans le sud-est des USA et cet hôtel a été très bon, comme les autres. Le rapport qualité-prix est vraiment bon et permet de faire une étape de qualité.
Celui de Slidell se trouvait idéalement situé sur notre route de retour vers la Floride.
