Milkshed
This cottage is unique in that it is designed to resemble a small barn and located next to the stables on the site of the original Stewart-era "Milkshed". It was built in 2004 for the current owners of Oak Alley Restaurant & Inn and renovated in 2017 for use as an overnight cottage. It features two bedrooms (one with a king-size bed with Tempur-Pedic mattress, the other with a queen-size bed with Tempur-Pedic mattress) and two full bathrooms. The master bathroom includes two sinks with basins, a shower with 2 showerheads and body jets, and a chest of drawers in a closet. The second bathroom features a Jacuzzi-style spa tub/shower. Each bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer and luxurious monogrammed embossed bathrobes. The living/dining/kitchen area is an open format with cathedral ceiling and exposed beams. The full kitchen is equipped with stove/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and, of course, all accessories. Utensils for preparing meals are provided. Wireless Internet and cable TV are available throughout the chalet. The living room has a 60-inch TV, and each bedroom has a 32-inch TV. An iron and ironing board are also provided. This cottage offers magnificent views from its front balcony and secluded rear balcony. You also have a double carport and a patio to enjoy the sounds of nature.
