Une nuit à Oak Alley
C'est un souvenir inoubliable de pouvoir loger dans ce lieu mythique. Quel plaisir de pouvoir profiter du parc le soir, le matin quand il n'y a pas de visiteurs. Les cottages s'intègrent parfaitement dans le site. Spacieux, avec un ameublement qui entretient l'ambiance. Le petit déjeuner offre une carte diversifié avec des plats locaux. Le service est très convivial.

Un incontournable quand on fait la route des plantations. Superbe demeure dans un cadre exceptionnel. L'allée avec les 28 chênes est divinement belle. La visite quant à elle se fait uniquement en anglais. Les guides sont habillées en costume d'époque mais on a l'impression qu'elles récitent un texte qu'elles ont appris. Visite impersonnelle mais néanmoins à ne par rater. Ce serait bien qu'il y ait des audio-guides pour les non-anglophones! Il n'est fait aucunement mention des esclaves qui ont hérigé cette demeure .....Regrettable.
