This small bus station is where Greyhound buses covering Louisiana and the rest of the country arrive and depart (note that Megabus uses the CATS terminal at the corner of Convention and North 22nd streets instead). A small convenience store sells drinks and snacks. Be aware that there are no cabs at the bus station (you have to order one) and it's at least a 20-minute walk to downtown. However, many hotels offer a free shuttle service to and from the bus station.
