Occupying the former Rum House premises, SoLou is one of the trendiest gourmet addresses in Louisiana's capital. An abundance of plants, mid-century furniture , a terrace with a wall that inspires Instagram photos, a menu that highlights local traditions as well as world flavors: this is SoLou. Mention should also be made of the brunch, available every day, with its cocktails and tasty little dishes (waffles and fried chicken, alligator in Creole sauce with grits, etc.). An eccentric address well worth the detour.
