It was a busy LSU baseball weekend. We had two adjoining rooms, and I think they gave us an upgrade. Service and staff are terrific. Breakfast was very good, but I had to eat standing up. The shower in our room had no hot water likely because the valve was bad. Next time I have to remember to check out all the plumbing when I first check in. Won’t affect our decision of where to stay in the future as it’s still a terrific place. Our room was 207.

The Cook Hotel and Conference Center at LSU is a truly wonderful home away from home. Decked out in Purple and Gold everywhere, it is quaint, comfortable and convenient. Free breakfast buffet is a welcome convenience - always. The gift shop has something for everyone as well.

The two times I have come down to visit LSU with my son, we were lucky to stay at The Cook Hotel. The location is fantastic. The breakfast and the breakfast staff are incredible! The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. Can’t wait to come back!

My son and I went to see his best friend graduate Winter of 2023.

Had seen the Cook hotel many times working on campus and wanted to treat my son to a authentic LSU experience.

Everything was great from the front desk to breakfast in the morning and could not have been more conveniently located.

Went to grandson's graduation from LSU and stayed at the Cook. Great experience, loved the hotel, and was close to all venues. Had a great time!

The cleanest and quietest place in Red Stick. Staff is amazing and, well, Geaux Tigers!

Ps…the gift shop is amazing as well.

I absolutely loved my stay & all staff was pleasant & welcoming. Housekeeping works extremely hard to ensure rooms are tidy, the cooks & staff work extremely hard to ensure breakfast is nice & there were options for everyone & a decent dining room to eat & relax at, a walking trail across from the hotel, & many options when it came to TV & what to watch. I loved the luxury King suite & how there was a TV in the living room & bedroom, the amenities felt like an apartment & it was more than enough room for 3 people, & I liked how it was 2 sinks, one in the bathroom, & one outside of the bathroom.

The front desk staff were kind & took time to explain things I had questions about. Most importantly, I loved how I was able to check in early because driving 4.5 hours away for my graduation, my family & I were exhausted & had sat at the bookstore earlier to pass time. While we understand the room has to be cleaned, waiting until 3pm to check in can be extremely long when driving in a car for hours & wanting to get settled.

This hotel was superb & when my family & I come back to LSU, we'll definitely stay here again!

Nice room, decent breakfast, decent Wi-Fi. Boring with nothing else within a 10 minute walk. Other than the picturesque lake.

Extremely unprofessional. Booked on Expedia and prepaid already. I was asked and had to pay on the front desk again on checking in. Ridiculous. Extremely bad experience!!!. Very bad smell like mold.

The Reception Staff at LSU's Cook Hotel & Conference Center set the tone for what was a terrific campus visit with our daughter. The facility sparkled, the staff was communicative and responsive. The bar service was crisp and professional. Well done, Tigers!

We had a minor issue with the shower water but it was handled so fast we didn’t even have our stuff packed up before we were in another room. Excellent service in all areas. Shout out to that maintenance crew!!

We stayed at the Cook Hotek during a visit to LSU. Great hotel. Slightly older, however very well maintained and clean. The customer service was on point. From the front desk to the breakfast staff, everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good! I loved the location. A quick walk to the campus. There is a walking trail outside the hotel that was great for an early morning run. Would definitely recommend it, and I would stay here again.
