Accessible from the I -10 (exit 158 for College Drive whose extension is Constitution Avenue), this establishment offers the advantage, in addition to allowing you to take the road by avoiding traffic, staying 5 minutes from the city centre if you pass through Government street. The reception deserves its reputation as well as the comfort of all rooms, all of which have been arranged on the same principle: Living room, bathroom and bedroom with King Size bed. Please note that the hotel offers cocktails, refreshments and toast from until. The heated swimming pool (-23 h), the golf courses, the gym and the Zydeco restaurant open until am are not forgotten.

It was a disappointment, the worst Embassy Suites we've stayed at as far as the suites go. The staff at the front desk at check in was very good. Specially Cameron & Eugleena. But the hotel itself in areas, especially the rooms, need serious attention. Definitely not at Hilton standards, they should send an Auditor to check it out because it's been neglected. We had to change rooms, the first suite felt dingy and with a strong musty smell, tiny bathroom and the floor was extremely slippery, who knows what from. It felt like soap had been applied but not washed off . Overall not a pleasant or relaxing experience in that first room. Cameron quickly gave us a different room, which was slightly better, a bit brighter with a touch more light, but still a mustiness in the air. Doesn't feel healthy. The bathroom has a flimsy, sub-standard cheap (plywood?) door that doesn't close properly, and two holes in the wall. The furniture is antiquated; everything needs serious renovation to bring the overall experience up to Embassy Suite standards. They have an evening "reception" 5:30 to 7pm but far from what they offered before, now its a bag of chips, wine, beer & maybe rail drinks. The breakfast buffet is ok-ish; they do have an omelette station and on demand egg cooking that's pretty good. Needless to say we will not return there again and Corporate Hilton needs to wake up and take a good look at it. Weary travellers need to feel rested at the end of a long day, and everyone should feel they are getting value for their hard-earned money. $135 a night may seem fair, but only if the standards meet expectations. The front door didn't close properly and on check out day, despite having a do not disturb sign on and telling the house keeper next door that we would depart in approximately half an hour (and well before official check-out time), I took some things to the car, and upon returning I found the door open. Somebody had come in and left it wedged open, maybe they were in a hurry? Not a pleasant feeling.

This is the roughest Embassy Suites I have ever stayed in. Usually, when traveling, picking an Embassy Suites is a safe bet. Not this one.
Road onstruction makes it very difficult to even access. Takes forever to get in and out of there.
The staff was the lone bright spot. Hard working and helped as much as they could.
The rooms are old. I stayed when it was cold out ( high 40's at night). My room (801) had no heat and a 1 inch gap under the door. So the cold air blew in under the door all night. I ended up having to stuff towels under the door and then use the hair dryer to try and warm up the room. My room had no note pads/ no soap/ and one lamp didn't work. I had maintenance come up but couldn't fix any issues.
They were able to move me to a different room on the 2nd and 3rd night. Which was much better but still old & and outdated.

Definitely does not hold up to the Hilton standard. We first checked in using our digital key but then requested a new room after our original room had an odor, insufficient towels and the shower was clogged. Switching rooms was easy. New room was decent. Breakfast at this location sucks! Not a whole variety of food provided like other embassy locations. Overall, left feeling unimpressed and will definitely not be back.

Friendly staff, hotel getting old. Slow elevators, sometimes 1 of the 2 is broken, using stairs is not an option, because they do not exit on first floor, just to outside.
