This museum is housed in a former 1920s railroad depot on the banks of the Mississippi River. It offers various permanent exhibits for children and adults (the planets, the solar system, the universe, and ancient Egypt) as well as temporary exhibits. The planetarium has one of the most sophisticated multimedia equipments in the world: projection of 70 mm films, a laser show for 150 people on a dome of 18 meters high.
