Kept secret by the residents of Lafayette, this little bistro on a street corner in a residential neighborhood doesn't look like much. However, it serves very good Creole food at a very low price: barbecued ribs, stuffed chicken cooked in the oven, sausages and red beans, fried catfish, fried shrimps, chicken or meatball fricassee, etc. This small gourmet address is frequented almost exclusively by locals. It doesn't get more authentic than this, and the portions are really generous.
