For the past few years, Lafayette has boasted its own Rock'n'Bowl, the popular bowling and concert venue in New Orleans. Everyone talks about it, it's the place to be. It's in the decor of an old bank that you can come and try your luck or sway to the sounds of the local bands that set the dance floor alight on weekend nights. On Sundays, it's inevitably zydeco. If you're feeling peckish, try the beignets covered in crawfish sauce and the flatbread with barbecue chicken.
