St. John's Cemetery which has an impressive number of graves with French names in Lafayette.
Built in the 1910s with red bricks, it is imposing. On its left side stands a gigantic oak tree, five centuries old. Impressive! Behind the cathedral, you can walk through St. John's Cemetery, which has an impressive number of graves with French names engraved on them. Audioguides are soon available for the visit. Also to be seen on site, the museum which traces the history of the diocese and the souvenir store.
