The famous crustacean is the star of the show, both on the plate and in wacky competitions like the crayfish race.
The Crayfish Capital of the World organizes every year this festival dedicated to this small crustacean served in every conceivable way. Although there are several in Louisiana, this one is considered the main and true crawfish festival. Also on the program: musical performances, Cajun cooking and dancing demonstrations, rides, a parade, etc. Don't miss the crawfish race, one of the highlights of the festival.
