This state park occupies more than 2,400 hectares in the Atchafalaya basin, an area once inhabited by the Chitimacha tribe. With its incredible hydrographic network, this park is the ideal place for nautical activities (canoes, kayaks and boats can be rented on site). You can also spend the night with several camping options (camping with or without services, canoe-camping, glamping) and nice cottages on stilts. There are also three hiking trails.

Très beau state park, avec très peu de monde! C'est très appréciable et ça permet de profiter du bayou et des animaux en toute quiétude!
