Bayou Carlin Cove is a peaceful place to fish if you have all the necessary equipment. You can also buy crawfish and other catches of the day directly from the fishermen's boat (for arrivals and fishermen's contact information: louisianadirectseafood.com/delcambre-direct-seafood). Note that the Bayou Carlin Cove pavilion is home to the famous Delcambre Seafood & Farmers Market. It is always held on the first Saturday of the month (except in July).
