This small museum has been housed since 1984 in the old freight station depot dating from 1893-1894, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In this museum, you will see exhibits on Cajun music, railroad history, newspaper history, Indian life, Cajun Mardi Gras and early farmers. In addition, there are temporary exhibits and craft workshops. Cajun and zydeco music, Cajun crafts and souvenirs are also available for purchase.
