Center that exhibits musical instruments that you can try yourself in Eunice
Representing the cultural mix between Cajuns, Creoles and cowboys, this center exhibits musical instruments that you can try yourself (such as the scraper, a notched metal plate tied around the neck and scraped in rhythm with spoons), various objects and costumes of daily life in the 17th and 19th centuries as well as various agricultural tools. A large map explains very well the different periods of the Acadian exodus. Demonstrations, music and films are also available.
