This Spanish style plantation houses the Terrebonne Parish Museum. It is a beautiful home with stunning exterior colors, all dating from 1859. The second floor is Victorian and dates from 1893. The most beautiful element of this plantation-museum is a magnificent collection of 135 pieces of porcelain birds. Don't hesitate to ask for a guided tour in French, or a brochure is available at the gift store.
