The hotel is in very good condition, the showers, beds and accommodations were very good, however in room 101 the elevator was next to the room and caused noise and trouble all night long. The staff were very helpful in finding a new room but the elecator next to the room made it almost unbearable to stay in the room
This is a very nice hotel. I requested a room on the first floor, and I was accommodated. When we requested the first floor room, we were told that children and pets (dogs) were on the first floor. It was a bit noisy but I didn't mind since I wanted a room on the first floor. There is a restaurant of sorts onsite with some limited food items. It's more of a type of sports bar with pub fare, which was fine. If more of a wider menu is desired, then one may want to find a restaurant off-site. This wasn't a budget hotel, but it wasn't extravagantly expensive either.
This hotel is not worth more than $100 a night. It is very old and dingy. The room smelled of mildew. If you stay on the 2nd level closer to the right wing of the hotel the lights in the parking lot shines right into your room. I had to clean the hotel room myself because it was so dusty and dirty. Our bathtub had an old razor in it. The caulk that sealed the toilet was off. Previous tenants hair was still there… This location can say cleanliness and such is their top priority, but in reality it isn’t. It’s a nice location because it’s close to the casinos and around familiar restaurants. The pictures are very deceiving, until you arrive. Cleaning service should NOT be every 3 days. The amount of soap scum build up on the faucets showed whoever is cleaning this room is not doing it well.
If I could give it less than one star I would. Everything was fine when we checked in, I brought along my service dog. We checked in on Friday afternoon, my dog in tow. We spent the night there, went in and out of the hotel, at least half a dozen times with my dog, The front desk looking and smiling and waving.
We went to the casino and came back at About 11:45 PM on Saturday night. The front desk clerk rudely asked me what room I am in. I don’t think anything of it so I tell her my room number. She asked me did I fill out a form that told her that I had a service animal. I told her no, no one said I needed to fill out any form. I’ll be happy to fill it out now if it needed.
She then proceeds to look at the security guard who is there, and tell us to kindly vacate the premises. I asked her what are you talking about. She goes you have a dog, we are not dog friendly. You have to leave now.
I tried to explain to her that nobody provided a form and I’ve been here for the last two days going in and out of the hotel she refused to listen to one word I said and said I have to leave immediately. I asked to speak to the manager, she refused to let me speak to the manager, saying that he’s going to tell you the same thing..
things got heated, they threatened to call the police so my wife called the police. And the police promptly showed up.
he asked why he was called, I told him in a bit of an annoyed voice that they’re trying to kick us out.
he asked the front desk, so where is this form?
She has it to him, he has it to me. He says fill this out. I proceeded to do so. He handed it back to the front desk and said go on with your day and promptly left, refusing to comply with with the request of the front desk agent to remove us from the premises.
After all of this, I decided to leave on my own accord, and go to another hotel hotel. I will be contacting IHG head office directly, contacting legal as this is a civil rights issue.
Terrible. Had a bad experience. Under bathroom sink, all water pipes were on floor and tools beside them. Drano was on counter. I left to find another hotel.
Make sure you don’t need to cancel your reservation, they will refuse to refund for any reason. This is a predatory business that does not value its customers.
We driove in from Texas for New Years Eve and an employee from this hotel, the employee who cleaned room 228 on Jan 1st 2024 didn’t turn in what she found in the room to lost and found! I accidentally left a bag containing new black boots, my New Years Eve dress, and pj’s in the room. I called the hotel a few hours later, once we arrived home and was informed that nothing had been turned in by the housekeeping staff! We drove to the hotel from Texas, and when we checked out drove straight home, I know I left the bag right next to the bed, I forgot to grab it and the staff kept my belongings. Sleep well at this hotel just make sure you don’t forget anything….
Rooms dirty( coffee maker, carpet and bed skirting stained), bathroom shower area with mould. Ice machine outside on the hallway was so loud it was noticeable inside the room.
