This visual art museum, the largest of its kind in the central part of the state, is dedicated first and foremost to artists from Louisiana and the southern United States, as evidenced by its permanent exhibition Connected Visions: Louisiana Artistic Lineage. Temporary exhibitions are added to the annual program, as well as art workshops for adults and families, summer art camps for younger children, educational programs for schools, and more. Guided tours are available for groups by reservation.
