An active military base, installed in a replica of the military barracks of the Second World War
Located inside Camp Beauregard, an active military base, and housed in a replica of World War II military barracks, this museum brings together all traces of the region's military heritage and its role in that conflict. In 1940, 60,000 men were trained in Louisiana before being sent to the rescue of France. You can also see tanks and helicopters, authentic military uniforms and other objects such as helmets.
