THE WAVE

The Wave is a bus that operates in the evening in Houston, inside Loop 610. There are two ways to use it: either like a cab, you call it and it picks you up on the way there and back, or like a bus, you go to the Wave stops located on designated routes and report to the driver. Of course, you can do both at the same time. The Wave runs all night long between Washington Avenue, Upper Kirby, Montrose and Midtown, and Downtown. The initiative is recent and supported by City Hall. Houstonians are just starting to use this shuttle, in order to solve the problems of drink-driving and paid parking.
