Ninfa's is a very popular Mexican restaurant in Houston, named after the famous Mama Ninfa Laurenzo, known in Houston in the restaurant world. Locals go here mainly for the conviviality of the place. On the menu are Mexican dishes: tamales, enchiladas, tacos, margaritas... and house specialties. Of particular note are the famous tacos al carbon, the dish that has made Ninfa's famous since the 1970s.
