A formidable wine cellar, Max's Wine Dive is a trendy after-work spot for Houston's young executives. Monday to Thursday, happy hour from opening until 6pm. The subdued lighting, brick walls and friendly staff are conducive to relaxation, but also a little intoxication. The house specialty is wine, but there are plenty of cocktails on the menu, as well as snacks to quench your thirst. And for those with a serious appetite, the restaurant is also highly regarded.
