A colony of bats with sometimes surprising behavior that have chosen Buffalo Bayou Park in Houston as their home.
Like the city of Austin, Houston also has its colony of bats. Under the bridge, on either side, you can admire, especially at nightfall, an impressive colony of these birds that have chosen Houston and more particularly this bridge as their home. Not as impressive as in Austin but also worth a visit. Be careful: the bridge is quite low. Try to keep an important distance from this wildlife, whose behavior is sometimes surprising.
