Houston's airy, light-filled gallery gives space to impressively large works.

An annex of the Menil Collection, this gallery opened in 1995 to designs by Renzo Piano. It features works by the American artist Cy Twombly, known for his abstract and poetic pieces. It was in the 1990s that the Menil Collection suggested that Cy Twombly should have an installation dedicated entirely to his work, giving rise to the Cy Twombly Gallery. Airy and luminous, the gallery gives space to works of impressive dimensions. A magnificent address not to be missed!
