This is our real favorite in Downtown Galveston. With its grand lobby, interior walkways, piano bar and superb rooms, Tremont House is a true marvel. The original building dates back to 1879. High ceilings with moldings, waxed parquet floors and views of the street or central hall characterize the spacious rooms. Tremont House even attracts out-of-town visitors with its rooftop terrace offering superb panoramic views of the city. A great address for a romantic stay.
