Very long Galveston seawall nearly 16 km where children and local artists have painted the longest artistic wall.
Along the aptly named Seawall Blvd, you can spot part of Galveston's very long seawall, stretching for almost 16 km, built over a hundred years ago, in 1902. Local children and artists have painted a 2.5-mile stretch, making it the longest "art wall" in the world. A real local pride! Most of the drawings depict the seabed as imagined by children. A good place for a peaceful stroll, admiring the scenery and getting to know the locals.
