In Corpus Christi, Japanese restaurants aren't exactly a dime a dozen. Perhaps this Downtown address benefits from the lack of competition. It's hard to say that the sushi is good, as it should be extra fresh in a city so close to the water... It's pretty disappointing. The rolls, on the other hand, are better. You'll also need to think about covering up well, as the air-conditioning inside is cranked up to the max. And in August, when it's humid outside, the contrast is unforgiving. Moi et mon mari, on ne s'en lasse jamais des rouleaux d'Aka sushi. Un régal! Sûrement les meilleurs à Corpus Christi!
