This little oasis of greenery, which looks like a Japanese garden with a Mexican twist, is located in the Travis Heights neighborhood, across the Colorado River from East Cesar Chavez. The two cottages - Studio Azul and Casita Roja - are as funky as can be, with flashy, arty bric-a-brac decor. Plenty of space and a soothing atmosphere in this little corner of paradise, nestled in a residential area of Austin yet with easy access to Downtown. With friends or family, we love it. Special mention for Studio Azul's shower!
