Youth hostels are a rarity in the United States, especially in the southern states... But here's at least one! And in an atmosphere that's not too disappointing either. Right in the heart of Downtown, just across from the Driskill and a block from Congress Avenue, this inexpensive option quickly became a victim of its own success, and prices got a little out of hand. Despite this, the place remains pleasant, and will probably be one of the least expensive options given its location. Very popular with young people and students from all over the world.
