A little off the beaten track from Austin's urban center, Hotel Viata offers a peaceful, quiet stay in more upscale comfort. The rooms are well appointed, with quality linens, but perhaps lack a little charm. Decoration is simple and pretty, but nothing more. But the establishment itself is well worth the effort, with a beautiful building surrounded by lush greenery. There's a superb outdoor swimming pool and a recently renovated luxury spa: a kind of Italian oasis... The patio is available for enjoying Italian dishes.
