For over 30 years, Antone's has been an Austin landmark. Along with many other bars and nightclubs, it was one of the places that contributed to the city's musical reputation. The historic venue played host to such blues greats as B.B. King, Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, John Lee Hooker and James Cotton. Willie Nelson also played there. Sadly, the famous producer Clifford Antone passed away in 2006, but the spirit of his work lives on, to the delight of Austinites and music-loving visitors alike!
