This is Austin's home for contemporary art. In this magnificent gallery, temporary exhibitions are of high quality and change regularly. The museum was originally located in the beautiful Laguna Gloria villa, on the shores of Lady Bird Lake. Since 2011, the contemporary Downtown wing has opened its doors. Both can be visited. There's an outdoor sculpture garden at Laguna Gloria, beautiful and ideal for a reading session in the sun. Worth seeing: Jim Hodges Liberty and Justice for All, a work "in progress", according to the artist.
