AMY'S ICE CREAM

Austin, Houston and San Antonio have all been taken over by this small chain of ice-cream parlors, which is a real hit with the locals. We only mention the SoCo address here, where locals line up to refresh themselves with one of these mythical ice creams. The ice creams are made on the premises from fresh ingredients. The program features original flavors that are often renewed: Mexican vanilla, tequila, pecan, etc. They also offer milkshakes and ice-cream cakes. In all cases, a real delight, even if we've had lighter desserts.
