State park, crossed by the Pedernales River, located east of Johnson City, with magnificent waterfalls
Located some ten kilometers east of Johnson City, this state park is crossed by the Pedernales River, hence its name. And since the name implies magnificent waterfalls, it's our duty to disabuse you of this notion as quickly as possible: in some places, the undulating ground speeds up the flow of water, without necessarily creating a cascade. However, it is true that, in some places, waterfalls can be as much as one or two metres high.
