Brewery that houses the Culinary Institute of America and cultivates a relaxed, good-natured atmosphere in San Antonio

A 30-minute walk north of Downtown, along the River Walk, takes you to Pearl Brewery, a former brewery converted into boutiques and restaurants. Established in 1881, this brewery is now home to many fine restaurants. As is often the case in San Antonio, there's nothing snobbish about this trendy spot, which cultivates a relaxed, good-natured atmosphere. During the day, enjoy the farmer's market and the famous Ladino Mediterranean restaurant. For an early-morning wake-up call, there's the Full Goods Diner, a delicious American diner.
