Another hybrid restaurant, bar and café. The Liberty Bar is a favorite with locals, who come to this pink building, a former convent in the city, to drink a European, Mexican or American beer, a cider or a glass of red wine. It's also a great place to dine in the relaxed atmosphere of South Alamo Street. They're famous for their homemade fettuccine, as well as their sourdough pizzas. For an early morning meal, head here for a great brunch, with good omelettes.
