Built in 1909, this historic boutique hotel in the city (it's even on the prestigious list of Historic Hotels of America) has 138 very comfortable rooms just steps from the Alamo. They are all good sized and fully equipped. The decoration is rather classic but the exoticism of the hotel develops elsewhere, around its pretty open swimming pool. The welcome is charming and the hotel lobby extremely pleasant. In the morning, a full breakfast is offered in the common room.
