The former Museo Alameda, dedicated to Mexican history in San Antonio, has given up its walls to a private foundation, which has transformed this beautiful space, located in the heart of the Mexican market, into an art gallery. Temporary exhibitions are held here, focusing on Mexican and Latin American culture. It's a highly recommended visit, illustrating American and Texan life in depth from a Latin American point of view. For example, one of their past exhibitions focused on the iconography of "Día de los muertos".
