VILLA FINALE
A visit that offers the opportunity to discover the King William neighborhood, the historic heart of San Antonio.
A visit to this 1876 home is a great way to discover the King William district, the historic heart of San Antonio. Architect O'Neil Ford decided to restore the house in 1967, on behalf of Walter Mathis. This renovation inspired Mathis, a businessman and art lover, who became the driving force behind the rehabilitation of the entire neighborhood, with twelve houses restored at his request. A brochure in the visitor center and in front of Mathis's house indicates the location of the twelve other properties.
