Only one line serves Dallas, the Texas Eagle line. It runs from Chicago to Los Angeles, connecting Dallas to Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio and El Paso within Texas. Trains also stop in other Texas cities. Trains depart daily from Dallas to Fort Worth (1 hour 35 minutes), McGregor (4 hours 10 minutes), Austin (6 hours 40 minutes) and San Antonio (10 hours 05 minutes). To go further west, you need to take the same trains - but change at San Antonio station, after a 7-hour wait.
