DALLAS MUSEUM OF ART
This museum houses a permanent collection that spans centuries of art, across several geographic areas.
The Dallas Museum of Art is one of the city's great museums and well worth a visit. Its permanent collection covers centuries of art, on several geographical areas. The superb section dedicated to Indonesia with its masterful statues, the Egyptian sarcophagi and amulets and the Silk Road route are worth mentioning. Contemporary art is also represented on the first floor with paintings by Mondrian, Picasso and Fernand Léger. In this gallery the exhibitions change regularly, with large temporary exhibitions.
