THANKS-GIVING SQUARE
A park with a unique concept, that of giving thanks. Inaugurated in 1976, Thanks-giving Square was designed by Philip Johnson, the winner of the Pritzker Architecture Award. Built 4.5 m below ground level and isolated from the surrounding hustle and bustle by a wall and water sources, it is a haven of peace in the middle of which stands a chapel, a spiral tower of sparkling white, adorned with magnificent spiral stained glass windows (Glory Window) by Gabriel Loire. We like to stroll around it or why not indulge in a meditation session.
