HISTORIC WEST END
Historic West End is a small corner west of Downtown, between Commerce Street to the south, Highway 366 and IH-35.
This little corner west of Downtown, between Commerce Street to the south, Highway 366 to the north and IH-35 to the east, lends itself perfectly to a stroll. The historic hub of the Dallas rail network, the neighborhood grew up around red-brick warehouses. The area has been well preserved and retains much of its charm, despite the touristy restaurants on Market Street. This is where you'll find the Sixth Floor Museum, the Dallas World Aquarium and Ellen's: a soul food restaurant with non-stop service.
